The message is a serious one. I am particularly interested by this
song otherwise I would not waste my time reflecting on its message.
This analysis is of the artists’ lyrics with the aid of the video. I’m
sure many of you must have heard about this song Judas
especially if you’re a Christian it would be of interest particularly
since the artist is indirectly sending you a message. The moral of the
song is nobody is perfect so you dont have to beat
yourself up (like Judas Iscariot, who killed himself) but only pick
yourself up and try again. Also the lyrics contains different voices
intended to give different perspectives (eg.the artist, Mary
Magdaline, Jesus, Judas- in that order ) but suitably for the artist
who is a female the main voice is Mary Magdaline who is a common theme
in most of her songs.
Many people of faith believe
that there can absolutely be no connection between Christians and
worldly people. Wrong! The Bible does say all have sinned and nobody is
totally secure in God. Everyone has some form of insecurities and being
truthful with yourself is the only way to solve the problem because
hiding it from the world does no good to you.
It’s
good if you pay attention to the lyrics because you can learn something
from it. I hope you are not the type of Christian who closes his mind
in an unreasonable manner from the world when the truth is you can
learn alot from secularism-without being corrupted. Anyway what I mean
to say is if the song has caught your ear that’s probably because it’s
designed to grab your attention.
But the message is clear. Let me begin.
I’ll
start by summarizing the lyrics since it’s the most important.
Basically the whole poem is metaphorical and its context is of a
spiritual nature. According to the video the message is told from the
perspective of Mary Magdaline who according to the Bible was a famous
prostitute who received grace when she met Jesus. Importantly it must
be known that spirituality is an individual experience (even in
worship) meaning its personal all the time therefore the artist is
singing from a christian perspective about her personal struggle of
faith and insecurities in a world filled with many paths.The artist is drawing similarities between herself and Judas
(Judas, Juda-a-a, Judas, Gaga). It’s obvious she is in a state of
self-doubt confusion as she cannot decide which path to follow even
though she is a christian. She doesn't understand who she is or what
shes about. She says she really loves God (Jesus is my virtue) and she
wants to serve him but she also struggles with worldly things. Worldly
people also try to do what is right with the light they have. The
problem is she only has one heart and so she feels guilty about denying
her faith (But Judas is the demon I cling to). In actuality the song
portrays a betrayal or rejection of her catholic faith and a deep cry
for help. That's my opinion
For you to understand the
song you have to know who Judas is/was. In short, Judas Iscariot was
one of the twelve followers of Jesus. You can say Judas was a
business-man who saw an opportunity for profit. He had a change in
heart when he was seduced by the devil (in the form of the priest and
Pharisees) and betrayed Jesus for money (the world). I think Judas was
insecure and overly selfish.In his mind he failed to meet the
expectations of Jesus because of his own self condemnation. Now however
you choose to interpret that is up to you.
But I see
the message of this song as Gaga confessing that she is backsliding in
her catholic faith even though she wants to be a good christian. She
must have fell in love with 'Judas' betraying Jesus at some point in
her faith. She says, (I’m still in love with Judas baby). She adds,
“I’m just a holy fool o baby it’s so cruel but..”, as if to say she is
trapped in a web of religious hypocrisy. It would help to do some
research of the artist’s upbringing you will discover Gaga was a victim
of institutionalized religion. As a catholic girl under a strict
discipline she felt confined in expression of her sexuality (as a
woman) denying herself many freedoms unjustly. Gaga even mentioned in
an interview that while growing up she felt terribly insecure mostly
because she was bullied at school.Hence she was forced to see God as
unforgiving and any sign of rebellion as disloyalty to God. Bear in
mind that she was under what some would consider a false religion with
many errors (read about the catholic church)and that she was only a
child when she entered the catholic church.
Sooner
than later Gaga recognizes she has a problem with her spirituality
and relationship with God. On the one hand she desires to do good and
following Jesus, and, on the other hand she is tempted to venture into
her dark side because of the pressures from the world. It was her lack of perfection in 'her eyes' that led her down a path of self condemnation. She says,"I’ll bring him down, a king with no crown".
Impatient, she leaves the church in her sincerity (not her faith in
Jesus) to appeal to her carnal side. If you read your Bible you would
know that Jesus is the king she is talking about. Jesus had no earthly
crown or materialistic wealth because he became like a servant- hence
the term the servant king. He was natural
and simple.Whereas we see Judas did the opposite and lifted himself up
when HE SOLD OUT! The Bible does say the love of money is the root of
all evil. The artist is indirectly saying that she sold out of her
faith for what she saw as more fulfilling. (doesn't this remind you of
the prodigal son?) (I could be wrong)
Judas, the disciple, was the man who brought Jesus down. But it was not a surprise to Jesus because he was suppose to die being the perfect one according to prophecy. We see a few oppositions here.
Jesus was perfect. Judas was not. However as I recall Judas was not the
only disciple to betray Jesus. Peter also betrayed Jesus by denying
him 3 times. What does that tell you? Compare that with the
prodigal boy who left and the one who stayed home. Still dont get it?
In the end which son was better? None of them!! They were both the same.
But
now it gets more serious. According to the lyrics she knows what she is
doing is WRONG but continually makes excuses for it. She states, "In
the most biblical sense I am beyond repentance...". As Christians we
know that you cannot go beyond repentance unless you commit the
unpardonable sin. The unpardonable sin is blaspheming (speaking)
against the holy spirit. She continues, "Judas kiss me if of-fenced or
wear ear condom next time". According to that first line, in her mind
she thinks that because she keeps on making mistakes she cannot be
forgiven by God. She believes that her flaws and imperfections are
signs that she is condemned of 'God'. But God already knew that she
would make those mistakes, "In the cultural sense I just speak in
future tense..".
Remember that Jesus Christ
was flawless. He did absolutely no wrong. Hence in the eyes of Judas,
Jesus' perfection was a mockery because he could not attain the level
of perfection that Jesus was on!Come on, why do you think he became a
follower of Jesus? Pure admiration, because Jesus was what he wanted to
be like.
Remember that after
leaving her catholic faith even though she was exposed to other worldly
views she still had some knowledge of the truth. Also bear in mind that
a function of the holy spirit is to convict you of truth.If you are a
true christian you should know what I mean.
It is possible Gaga learned about the truth sometime time after she left her faith but still that was not enough for her. She was a christian yes but not in totality.
The
actual meaning of the song is that she is in love with money and
pleasures despite the rules of her strict faith. The problem for her
she keeps coming back to it (her faith)- she can’t escape it. She
claims to have found a way to make herself the only point of reference
between right and wrong by uniting her good side (catholic faith) and
bad side (selfish love of pleasure). She accepts her good and bad
experiences for her own benefit
. So, what does she do?
She
ABANDONS her faith realizing it cannot save her anymore and embraces
her new experience and walk being neither too good nor too bad.
ACCORDING TO THE ARTIST IT’S ALL ABOUT SELF JUSTIFICATION BY FAITH IN
SELF, SELF FORGIVENESS AND SELF AWARENESS OR SELF ACCEPTANCE OR BEING YOURSELF simply put.
OTHER THEMES INCLUDE FREEING YOURSELF FROM FEAR AND EMBRACING THE GOD
IN YOU and AFTER ACCEPTING YOURSELF YOU MUST ACCEPT OTHER PEOPLE TOO.
With her new found freedom from institutionalized religion she uses her
talent (music)to help other people with similar experiences like hers
But
if I can say a final point, sometimes in life when you try to do the
right thing evil presents itself in the form of people who criticize
your intentions for doing good (Jesus Knew all about this because he
was innocent).You can never be perfect in the eyes of society. And most
times when you do ‘bad’ things you get away with it (if you are not
caught). (Judas knew about that). All that means is nobody is perfect.
So why is their hypocrisy in religions?And if Jesus was crucified for
being perfect it shows that you dont have to hide your imperfections
from God. You can only become perfect when you really begin to
recognize that you are not . That means learning from your mistakes.
And if your not then others are not also.
See Judas
was a snake who appeared to be perfect to others but was really hiding
his true nature. The only person who wasn't deceived was Jesus (cause
somehow he could identify with Judas-"do what you have to do').So was
Cain who tried to hide his imperfection by offering God things that
looked good. So was the Prodigal son who stayed home under a pretense
of serving the father.
In the end verse, the 'something' that is pulling her away from loving Jesus are her insecurities. She doesn't know what they are or much about them (its something)
as most times our insecurities are hard to understand because they are
covered up so deep we react in a kind of desperate mindless manner. It
could be some past negative experience, some past pain or hurt.
Whatever the case, it is 'her demon' that takes control of her life as she is unaware of why she acts the way she does.
Isn't the first step to being saved acknowledging what you are?- A HOLY FOOL (A religious person who is not perfect YET)
Think about this- the beginning of security is learning to laugh at yourself, realizing that no one is perfect.

Analysis of Lady Gaga Alejandro lyrics (only)- part1
Once again I am taking the time to analyze another song of the pop
artist. Like the latter, the message in this song is a serious one not
to be taken lightly. My hope is to shed some light on the subliminal
message of this song so you may see the implications of the content.
I was particularly interested by this song’s lyrics but will not dive into the video because of the controversy it carries pertaining to broad views and multiple visual imagery. I’m sure many of you have listened to this song Alejandro especially if you’re a Christian its implications are far reaching. I won’t waste any time but get to the point of the message in the lyrics.
Like the latter, this song has a spiritual connotation unique to the artist but which may be understood by all people of faith. I earlier mentioned the fact that the song is purely subliminal; subliminal simply means it may be understood below conscious perception. The purpose for a subliminal message is so the severity of the content will not awaken the conscious mind which is responsible for reasoning and logic. In addition, so that the seriousness of the message might not appear ‘awkward’ so to speak- thus it contains lots of creativity in its deliverance.
Basically the song is about God. It is about the artist’s relationship with God through her religious faith. It is highly symbolic and just like the previous song Judas you see that she is in a state of confusion, torn apart by a conflict of interest. Plus, there is the related theme of betrayal and rejection. The opening line says, “I know that we are young and I know that you may love me but... I just can’t be with you like this anymore, Alejandro”. Internal conversations and struggles has led her to declare that she is no longer interested in her catholic faith because of the hypocrisy to the point she is in a rebellion of the teachings and unsatisfactory state of her religion because it cannot change her affections. My opinion of the quotation.
One internet commentator believes the song is about mourning the death of the artists innocence, because with experience comes pain, insight and wisdom. It could be a constant struggle between light and dark, good and evil, right and wrong and the irony of their relative closeness. He concludes with the point that society is always at war with minority groups in a hypocritical manner and all this in the name of a just and holy God. Gaga rejects that type of religion.
Importantly, the whole song appears to be about a conflict she has between two lovers in which she cannot have both but must choose one. By all means she only has one heart and she must decide who she is going to serve. But in actuality the struggle she is experiencing is not between two mates, rather, the teachings of her faith and that of the world. I like the opinion of the internet commentator when he said it was her innocence that had died. I might add also her religion could not protect her from the realities of the world so she takes responsibility for her own situation by accepting the harshness of life-SHE MATURES.
She refers to herself in the relationship she has with her first lover as, “she’s got a halo around her finger around you”. The halo around her finger is a ring which she hides in her pocket so that nobody would see it (she's got both hands in her pocket). The ring represents her relationship and marriage with God. A halo is a ring of light that surrounds someone who is considered holy in the catholic faith like saints for instance. But Gaga is no saint nor does she pretend to be one any longer. Therefore the holy one she is implying would be God who has light around him. Unable to meet the expectations of that relationship, she divorces the former and turns to another ‘lover’. She says of the other lover, “you know that I love you, boy hot like Mexico rejoice”. Even though she recognizes the fact that she has rejected her first love, the ‘true love’, or the true faith, from the world, she accepts that she has become infatuated by another lover- Lucifer! I won’t get into the history except to say he was once a spirit of light who pleased God, but turned from God because of- dissatisfaction.
Gaga refers to him as hot like Mexico rejoice. The term “hot” used here would be symbolic of fire or heat in which she is describing her ‘boy’ or lover- it is actually as ‘hot as hell’ which is the prophesied destiny of Satan or the image associated with the devil who once used to praise God before he fell. She continues, “at this point I gotta choose nothing to lose”. By saying those words she implies she is at a cross-road, a crucial point, and must choose between compromising her faith or the things of the world.
The hook of the song is the main theme. It is a shout of liberation from a mental state of doubt and confusion. It exclaims a freedom from mental slavery along with a deep internal struggle between the dark and light and it is all because of a perception or picture of 'Alejandro'.It appears that the burden is so great that she releases herself from any ties to her faith and God. You must try to understand that while she is singing these words out loud for poetic emphasis- it is actually a declaration of her state of mind that would reflect her worldview more than anything else. It is psychology.
The hook says, “Don’t call my name, Alejandro
I’m not your babe, Fernando
Don’t wanna kiss, don’t wanna touch
Just smoke one cigarette and hush
Don’t call my name Roberto”
It’s very interesting she mentions three different names here, don’t you think? If Alejandro is the name of the song, who is Fernando and Roberto? They are other names for Alejandro. And since Alejandro is referring to God Fernando and Roberto would imply the Holy Spirit and Jesus who are the same as God. The catholic faith stresses the trinity in their teachings. A breakdown of the hook she is saying,
Leave me alone God, I’m not your child Jesus, I don’t want to repent and ask for forgiveness, only to quiet my conscience and break free from an oppressive state of mind. She is saying these words through an experience, a false perception or understanding of God. The message cannot be explained any clearer than this

This is yet another controversial song from the artist Lady Gaga.
However, just like the previous songs I’ve analyzed, this one is
religiously symbolic as well. It was also tough to interpret so you
need to have an open mind.
The title of the song is Bloody Mary and the entire message is a kind of riddle. It is not entirely straight forward but contains allusions between Mary Magdaline and Bloody Mary that must be decoded. But first you must know what a bloody Mary is. According to Wikipedia, “bloody Mary is a ‘ghost’ or witch featured in modern American folklore”. In essence it is a folklore illusion tale that is played as a sort of game in front of a mirror where she is said to appear when you call her name three times. According to research, bloody Mary was also a name given to an English queen, Mary Tudor, who lived in the 16th century that was said to have restored Catholicism to England through persecution of dissenters. But I dont believe the song has anything to do with this queen.
So bloody Mary is folklore. Folklore is a mythical story that is traditionally passed down from generation to generation through word of mouth. Now what I am about to discuss are the lyrics of the artist and my opinion on them.
The artist is implying that there is more to the story of Jesus than is seen or understood and that you must look behind what she calls bloody Mary- the illusion of it all, and see the reality.
Firstly, the song mentions prominent figures like Pontius Pilate (when Pontius comes), Jesus Christ (to kill the king upon his throne), Mary Magdalene (I’m ready for their stones). Gaga is singing from a Mary Magdalene perspective, one of the followers of Jesus that was not talked about much.
Basically, Mary Magdalene is singing about her relationship with Jesus Christ not as a mere disciple but on an intimate level, not sexually but spiritually. The innocence, playfulness, kindness and purity of Jesus touched Magdaline soul. She says in the songs opening lines, “love is just a history that they may prove and, when your gone ill tell them my religions you”. She continues, “I’m ready for their stones”, Mary Magdalene was a prostitute who was condemned by society because of her immoral lifestyle just like a sinner is condemned for breaking the law. However, when she met Jesus things changed because she received forgiveness and he did not condemn her. This is important to note.
The next few lines are difficult to decode because they imply many things. She says, "Ill dance dance with my hands above my head like Jesus said..im gonna dance, dance together". It could be symbolic of her happiness and joy because of the pardon and grace she received. In addition,the dancing and playfull communion would be symbolic of the freedom of the relationship she had with the Master. This is also symbolic of the kind of love expressed for her, as the only woman she felt special.
She also says, “I won’t cry for you, I won’t crucify the things you do, when you’re gone ill still be bloody Mary”. It appears that Mary Magdaline came to accept the fact that Jesus was going to die and she was ready. I believe she was able to appreciate the prophetically designed destiny of Jesus more than the other disciples. In other words she accepted Jesus as the savior through the time spent in her relationship with him because of what he did for her.
Furthermore, she says she won’t deny or persecute (crucify) his good works. This simply means she has accepted forgiveness from Jesus
She also mentions, “Forgive him before he’s dead”. I take this to mean, as a former sinner, she was able to see the value of Jesus immediately before it was too late. However, she refers to Pilate as a PUNK because he didnt have the guts to stand up for Jesus even though he knew Jesus was innocent.
The interpretation of the song is actually about the feminine energy that is important in the cycle of life. In actuality the whole song is about the value of women, women are more resembling of life than they are given credit for. In another verse she mentions of women, as saying, “We are not just art for Michelangelo to carve. He can’t rewrite the agro of my furied heart”. This implies the treatment of women as more than physical objects of possession
History says Michelangelo is known for his paintings of women in nude. The only thing is that he portrayed women as having masculine features all the time which aroused suspicion as to his sexual preference. He was also labeled anti- feminist, homosexual, pro-masculine and that he believed in male superiority.
The song is deep and I like it because the message is good. In a sentence the song is saying that men should treat women as not just fantasy, but with respect, and their opinion counts because men and women are equal.

In another verse she mentions of women, as saying, “We are not just art for Michelangelo to carve. He can’t rewrite the agro of my furied heart”. This implies the treatment of women as more than physical objects of possession
History says Michelangelo is known for his paintings of women in nude. The only thing is that he portrayed women as having masculine features all the time which aroused suspicion as to his sexual preference. He was also labeled anti- feminist, homosexual, pro-masculine and that he believed in male superiority.
The song is deep and I like it because the message is good. In a sentence the song is saying that men should treat women as not just fantasy, but with respect, and their opinion counts because men and women are equal.

Going through Changes
Please hear me out I’m not dropping your class you see but there's
something that's got to be done. I’m just going through the changes
like you said I would. That's a requirement for passing with a very
good- grade. I look in the mirror nowadays and I see that you were
never, ever, far from me. So if I don’t return home soon, well,you may
know the place where I stay, far far away and where exactly to find

Something to think About
Come to think of it I never really cared when the world was going to
end until I became a little older (couldn't care less ).The reality is
the worlds ending for so many people everyday like random mathematical
numbers. Have you ever tried to put yourself in the shoes of those
people you see on television or hear about through some rumor and
imagine, imagine it was you who were unlucky or lucky depending on how
you look at it and where you stand with God.Im just saying its funny
that everyone wants to go to heaven but nobody wants to die.
Of course death is an uncomfortable experience that people shouldn't have to go through but its not the only experience is it? Is it not also true that when people die some remain here? I see Christians die. I see Worldly people die. Whats the difference? Life has no favorites. As you progress on the journey of life maybe you're already beginning to think that your not so special. Good, your waking up. Do you think those people knew when it would be 'lights out' for them? I dont think so. Probably not.
In the meantime I assume THE WORLD WILL END WHEN I DIE, lol, just like for others. I cant see anything beyond that cause that day or hour I dont know, only God does.Why worry about something as uncertain as that? Cause even though Im his son I must be ready or be left. Being ready in any situation means that you 'know' about the inevitable and prepare for it so there are no regrets. And the more you live the more you'll see that something is messed up in the picture and you will want to do something about.
Which one of you thinking to travel to a far country would go to the Airport and forgot his ticket? Much worse, the passport!That not smart. How would you feel if they said the ticket you purchased is non refundable and the plane is leaving in TEN. Ouch...!!
How fast can you run home to get it?
Yet this is what happens in life everyday. Have no regrets

Of course death is an uncomfortable experience that people shouldn't have to go through but its not the only experience is it? Is it not also true that when people die some remain here? Right here is an interesting discovery more like an ongoing story
that has never been told. Because words could not find the voice to
express it so the thoughts kept it.
God Made Lucifer, no doubt. Lucifer became Satan, fine. If God made Lucifer then Lucifer works for God, true. God tells Lucifer what to do because HE is THE "world-boss", lol. Okay, so, if God sanctions everything Satan does, why are we so upset with him? Satan this, Satan that, Satan what! God made man, right? Man is the "world-boss", on earth, correct? So how does Satan have ...power over man? You allow him. Lets go again! Can God destroy Satan? Yes. Can Satan destroy God? No! So who are we; we can be both. Its either we control what we do, think, speak or we are controlled by the same. As captains of our own ship we must each take control of our lives or else we leave ourselves open to attack and other influences.When we have this control nothing on earth can move us in a direction we dont desire. And we can only have this control through 'wrestled' experiences. We have to let go of FEAR by acknowledging that we dont know. We are not perfect. At some point in time some unfortunate experience will FORCE you to believe or be left. At noon the sun shines the brightest. At midnight the sun is nowhere to be found. Light and darkness keep taking turns- that is just how God made it. Accept it. We are Gods, we are creators, we either give life or we take it- but it all comes back to us. Its simple but it takes faith. God is blamed for bad things. The Devil is blamed for bad things. Its a really strange coincidence if you think about it. Its as if nobody wants to take responsibility but only BLAME. Maybe the only thing man fears is himself. You ever wonder what God and Satan have in common? They both get blamed alot for what they 'do'. What do you say?
God created a perfect world- he is blamed for its errors. Satan destroyed a perfect world- he too is blamed for its errors. But who did God put in charge of the Garden? Find him and arrest him!

The Story of the three Hebrew Boys
Taken From Daniel Chapter 3
Firstly, the main characters of the story are, Nebuchadnezzar, the three Hebrew Boys, Public officials (Governors, Judges, police, bank operators, doctors, lawyers, teachers, artistes etc). All the members of society workforce were in the gathering. The three Hebrew boys were merely students, they weren’t professionals, they never had a big post or title- they were just simple recruits- novices. They were taken from their country and brought to a strange land with different culture, language, people and norms from their own.
Every detail of this story is highly symbolic and not literal- let me be clear. It seeks to express a deeper reality, therefore the scenes depicted is merely inflated hyperbolic language- exaggeration. No literal fire was there- thats what scares most people. If that was the case, who would be so reluctant to go into a fire willfully without thinking twice- be real. Would you do that?
The three Hebrew boys represent the Godhead-father, son and Holy Spirit. Three in one all equal and inseparable qualities of God. The father is the eternal spirit- he lives forever. The son is the manifestation of that spirit which is “holy”. God is holy! You need to understand that. He is called “holy spirit” because not all spirit is “holy” .some spirit is “evil” spirit, ok. But man is the decider of which spirit he wants. You need to understand that man without Gods spirit is like an animal the most deadly kind- there is no control for such but death. God knows this- man may or may not. A beastish creature is man, sooner or later it will come out- you ever watched the HULK? Very important to note.
Also take these concepts into consideration, thought, word(spoken) and action ; past, present and future=1. The past affects the present. the present determines the future. Time is a continuous never ending cycle. Its deep isn't it? All this is determined by choice. Listen, I tell the truth,I never like Mathematics in high-school, hated it, but if you're gonna understand Gods word you have to love Mathematics and English- cause the Bible is riddled with Math and Poetry. I call it Mathematical Poetry, lol. If this dope doesn't make you high- dont know what will. Anyway, God is a Mathematician among his many vocations- its clear!
Remember that the central theme of the Bible is Christ- the whole book from Genesis to Revelation talks of Christ, Christ is not Jesus! Christ is a spirit, that Spirit is God Himself who was there from the beginning and spoken of by the prophets as the perfect spirit to come (future tense). The prophets were not perfect men, but they believed in a perfect one. A perfect way of living. Jesus the man was chosen to have that title; he did not own it that’s why he said he does nothing of himself. The honor and glory of God was given to him and he wore it as an example for all who would wish to be like God. Amen! Back to the story.
The three Hebrew Boys did not bow down to the Golden image or statue which is representative of a system or a way of doing things. This way was not Godly, it was ignorance and fear- mass deception! Because everyone fell down nobody was brave enough to stand up. The image was a reflection of the mindset of the people; it was a way of looking at the world, it could be cultural, moral and ethical laws of a time and place. The fact they all bowed meant they all had the same mindset culturally and morally. It was a lie accepted by the masses that became reality. But God is a God of wisdom and knowledge and understanding and counsel- he doesn’t change for nobody.
His thoughts are not our thoughts and his ways are not our ways. You cannot kill God, nor can you tempt him. Three Hebrew boys were thrown in the fiery furnace that was heated seven times hotter. Seven (7) is the number of creation and perfection. Stay with me.In actuality God was thrown into the furnace because- society condemned him and blamed him. But he was not consumed because he is a spirit. Remember the story of the burning bush?
Our trials test us but they do not consume us. We are thrown into fires everyday metaphorically speaking; but we are not burnt or destroyed completely because God is with us, he lives in us. Trials are there to perfect you-live and learn. The story is actually about you and your experience- it is personal. Jesus came to rescue you only! You and God are one, just like Adam and God were one- sin will try to tell you otherwise thats why you must believe Jesus. Back to the story.
Importantly three people were thrown into the fire, but one was added who was not thrown in! Where did he come from and who was he? God is one. It is simple mathematics- 3+1=4. 4-1=3.
The fourth person was Christ. He was always here. He is the standard of truth and righteousness. God was always here. Wisdom was always here- read Proverbs. But you have to search for it like Gold, thirst for it like water or else you will not find it. Once you find it-once its given, you wont bow to every and anything, your secure.
Three and one are the same representation of God. But the story has a message. The entire book is riddled with mathematics and English. Every number in the book stands for something- it represents a symbolic theory- don’t take it for granted. In this case three is God. Seven (seven times hotter) is the weekly cycle of creation. When God made man, he made Adam like himself, he has the ability to think and do. But man is dust, he sinned by the choice he made, correct? Man is also God, if he chooses to exercises his divine nature. Man is really a divine being on earth. Man is not forever- he has a time. But he can live forever because of that eternal spirit- too deep? The Bible says to all a time is given for God created time.
Our trials make us perfect. They either kill us or make us stronger. We accept the consequences of them (choices) thats how we grow. In life you either lead or you follow, stand alone or fall. You cannot not make a choice.
The choices we make determine where we go in life. We are responsible for the choices we make, not God. As intelligent beings God does not interfere with our choices but he does rescue us when we are persecuted for them at times. He helps those who help themselves and at the same time saves those who cannot help themselves. Not those who will not try- there' s a difference. But you must believe in something, everybody does. In life you will be forced to believe something or fall for anything, you cant follow and hide in the crowd forever, and thats your responsibility- its your soul. You only have one soul!
Dont confuse yourself with the story- it was never meant to confuse you- it was designed to make you think. The entire book is a repeat of similar stories told over and over in different ways using different scenarios. There is nothing new. This story can easily be compared with Noah and the ark, Daniel in the Lions Den, Joseph in Egypt, the Prodigal son, Moses and Joshua (choose ye this day). Especially the prodigal son!
